A fleet of vintage cars bearing foreign license plates was recently spotted in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. According to sources, these vehicles belong to a group of classic car enthusiasts from Russia, who are embarking on a journey through the three Indochinese countries. Their adventure begins in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, before heading to Cambodia, Laos, and concluding in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Among the collection of over 10 unique vehicles, one standout is the Jaguar E-Type, a direct competitor to the Ferrari 250 GTO and Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. The Jaguar E-Type, known as the Jaguar XK-E in North America, is a British front-engine sports car produced by Jaguar Cars Ltd from 1961 to 1974.

Its sleek design, advanced technology, high performance, and competitive pricing made it an icon. The E-Type features a monocoque body structure, independent front and rear suspension with inboard rear brakes, and a rack-and-pinion steering system, setting industry-wide trends. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in under 7 seconds, with a top speed of 150 mph.

Jaguar E-Type ranked 3rd in position
The collection also includes two Porsche 930 Turbo models, one in red and the other in cream, produced from 1975 to 1989. As Porsche’s top-tier 911 model during its production, it was the fastest production car in Germany upon its release. Even after nearly 50 years, the 930 Turbo remains highly sought after.
During its 15-year production, the Porsche 930 Turbo was divided into two periods: 1975–1977 with a 3.0-liter engine (2,819 units produced) and 1978–1989 with a 3.3-liter engine (18,770 units produced).

The Porsche 930 Turbo is powered by a 3.3-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, delivering 282 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 412 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
This particular Porsche 930 Turbo, imported from the US with dual rear bumps, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph.

The collection also features various Mercedes-Benz sports cars and pickup trucks.
