After extensive road testing, the commercial version of the VinFast EC Van is now ready for delivery to early depositors.
The featured vehicle is part of a batch exclusively allocated to Xanh SM and will be deployed as an electric cargo taxi.
The VinFast EC Van measures 3,767 mm in length and 1,680 mm in width, comparable to compact cars like the Hyundai Grand i10. This compact design ensures exceptional maneuverability in tight urban streets. With a height of 1,790 mm and a turning radius of 5.1 meters, the van prioritizes agility over aerodynamic efficiency.
Finished in Xanh SM’s signature green, the exterior remains largely unchanged from earlier test models. The front fascia features a distinctive chrome wing-shaped bar encircling the “V” logo, a hallmark of VinFast’s design language. The headlights use halogen bulbs, while the manually adjustable side mirrors resemble those on the VF 3. Although fog lights are absent, the front bumper includes provisions for future installation.
At the rear, the taillights have been slightly modified from the initial 3D design. The van rides on 14-inch black-painted steel wheels, devoid of decorative covers.
The EC Van’s cabin embraces minimalism and practicality, featuring fabric seats, basic materials, and unadorned door panels. The absence of floor mats and a center armrest maximizes space between the front seats.
Departing from initial renderings, the doors now feature electric window controls instead of manual cranks, operated via switches below the radio. The VF 3-inspired steering wheel pairs with a rear-mounted gear selector. A compact display provides essential data, including battery level, speed, energy consumption, and range.
The van includes manual rotary air conditioning controls, a storage compartment, and a 12–24V power outlet. Traditional mechanical brakes are retained. The rear cargo area offers approximately 2,600 liters of volume and a maximum payload of 600 kg, catering to small businesses, vendors, and urban delivery services.
Powered by a 40 hp electric motor with 110 Nm of torque, the VinFast EC Van achieves a top speed of 75 km/h. Its 18.3 kWh battery delivers an estimated NEDC range of 175 km per charge.
Priced at 285 million VND, the VinFast EC Van targets small enterprises, individual business owners, and urban logistics operators seeking an affordable, eco-friendly, and maneuverable solution.
