As of now, after nearly 30 years in the market, there have been more than half a million Lexus LX cars delivered to customers and present in more than 50 countries around the world, contributing to enhancing the brand’s position and affirming the quality of the Lexus brand.

After maintaining a very successful third generation for 14 years with the LX570, recently, Lexus has just introduced a completely new fourth-generation product, opening the next chapter in the brand’s development journey. The Lexus LX600 still retains its superior qualities. In addition, Japanese engineers have added modern elements and advanced technologies to maintain the position of a leading market-leading model.
Modern design updated according to trends
Thanks to the improved body shape, the all-new Lexus LX600 has become more muscular and impressive than ever before. Overall, the car is longer, wider, and lower than its predecessor, creating a sense of power and agility when rolling on the road.
Specifically, the Lexus LX600 has dimensions of LxWxH mm respectively: 5,100 x 1,990 x 1,865 mm; the wheelbase length remains at 2,850 mm; while the ground clearance reaches 205 mm and can be flexibly adjusted to 4 different levels.
In terms of design, the front of the Lexus LX600 – as usual – still features the presence of a characteristic spindle-shaped grille. However, the design lines have been updated with a trendy seamless style, with 7 bright color bars, creating a bright, modern appearance for the car.
Accompanying that is the muscular bonnet, giving the front interface of the car a more muscular look. The main headlights are placed in a high position. The Blade Scan intelligent lighting technology helps the LX600 achieve superior lighting efficiency without dazzling other road users.
Next, the body of the car receives sharp lines, like the muscular ridges of a bodybuilder. The wheels have a size of up to 22 inches, a clever combination of a 5-spoke design and an angular wheel arch that makes the LX600’s posture even more athletic than ever.
At the rear of the car, Lexus equips the LX600 with a completely new design brake lights, more modern with a solid LED graphic. The bumper is placed high, with strong, square lines. The hidden exhaust system brings sophistication, and it is accompanied by a smart trunk with integrated hands-free opening.
Stepping inside, the interior of the Lexus LX600 welcomes the driver with the Tazuna concept – a ergonomic design concept with a strong Japanese style – making driving the full-size SUV smooth and exquisite, like holding the reins of a well-behaved steed.
The convenience features on the Lexus LX600 are also very rich, with up to 4 front displays, including: a 12.3-inch entertainment center screen with convenient fingerprint recognition capability that can remember up to 10 users; a 7-inch screen placed just below to allow passengers to monitor and adjust features and operating parameters most intuitively.
Behind the steering wheel is an 8-inch TFT screen in the instrument cluster, accompanied by a HUD display on the windshield specifically for the driver. Even the rearview mirror is equipped with a rearview camera display screen.
The interior of the car is decorated with a 64-mode customizable ambient lighting system. Around the car, there are up to 25 Mark Levinson speakers, providing high-quality entertainment sound experience. Other convenient equipment can be mentioned such as: door closer system, 4-zone independent automatic air conditioning, electric sunroof, 2-layer UV – noise – heat-resistant glass.
Complete versions to serve diverse needs
The all-new fourth-generation LX600 marks the first time that the Lexus luxury brand has brought all 3 versions to the Vietnamese market, with high personalization aimed at different customer groups with specific usage needs and “special tastes.”
Most notably among them is the Lexus LX600 VIP version, with a 2-row seating arrangement, set up with 4 seats and a center armrest in the middle of the rear seats. This version of the LX600 is aimed at maximum comfort for the owner, thanks to being equipped with full technology including: electric seat position and reclining adjustment, integrated various massage modes.
Rear passengers can be entertained through two large screens up to 11.6 inches integrated in the front headrests. A control screen for seat functions on the armrest is used to control entertainment features as well as select relaxation massage modes or adjust seat movement.
In addition, the rear seats on the LX600 VIP version also have adjustable reading lights, air conditioner vents designed like faucets, and especially the ability to adjust the position of the front seats to provide up to 1.1 meters of legroom exclusively for the rear passenger side.
On the other hand, the Lexus LX600 F SPORT version aims for a sporty nature, for customers who prefer a dynamic driving experience. The car is set up with 2 rows of seats – 5 seats, integrated with the F SPORT exterior package including special design details such as: grille, front-rear bumper, wheels, side logos, air intakes…
Inside the LX600 F SPORT, there are a steering wheel, door sills, shift lever, pedals, sports seats, and a display interface with a speedometer that carries the distinctive speed characteristic of the F SPORT version: from color scheme to distinctive design. In particular, this version uses Hadori gray aluminum interior trim material instead of Shimamoku Black wood.
Of course, the car’s powertrain and suspension systems have also been fine-tuned to improve performance, bringing a different experience to speed enthusiasts, although they still share the same engine and chassis platform as the two sibling versions.
And it is impossible not to mention the Lexus LX600 Urban version, with a 3-row seating arrangement for 7 seats. This version is optimized in design and can provide space for 7 adults to travel on long journeys in the most comfortable way. Especially, the third-row seat on the car is also equipped with electric adjustment and can be tilted up to 10 degrees or electrically folded to optimize the space behind to store belongings.
Durable, impressive, and smart operating ability create the difference
Perhaps in the world of cars, the Lexus LX or its sibling Land Cruiser are the most popular SUVs for off-road driving – something rare for such vehicles in the luxury segment. To achieve this, the Lexus LX has gained customer trust in a rugged and reliable vehicle.
Moving to the fourth generation, to maintain this trust, the LX600 has been comprehensively “overhauled” by Japanese engineers to provide a modern operating experience while still ensuring the traditional elements of durability and reliability.
Playing the role of the “heart” supplying power to the Lexus brand pioneer is a V6 engine with a capacity of 3.5L, integrated with a twin-turbo system, which can reach a maximum power of up to 509 HP – 650 Nm, which is superior to the previous generation V8 engine.
With the all-new GA-F platform, the car’s body is declared to be 20% stiffer but 200kg lighter than the previous generation. In particular, the engine placement position has been adjusted 70mm backward, lower by 28mm to lower the car’s center of gravity for stable operation, even though the overall size of the car has increased.
Especially, thanks to the air suspension system, Lexus LX600 integrates the AHC height control feature that provides 4 levels of adjustable body height for SUVs, including: Low, Normal, High 1, and High 2. In off-road mode, the Lexus LX600 can ford water up to 700mm.
The adaptive AVS suspension system on the car is set up with a double front wishbone and multi-link rear suspension for multi-point support (linked rigid axle). The rear shock absorber has also been carefully researched and positioned outside the suspension system to optimize load absorption performance.
The MTS intelligent automatic off-road operation system gives the driver the flexibility to customize 6 operation modes, depending on specific conditions, including: MTS Auto, off-road, sand, mud, snow, and rock terrain.
In addition, the sound insulation ability of the LX600 is also superior (although the previous generation was already impressive), thanks to the addition of sound-absorbing parts inside the car such as: door corners, inner door surface, ceiling, engine compartment partition; even under the floor there are 3 layers of sound insulation padding. The car is also equipped with 2-layer glass, all of which are soundproof and UV-resistant. The front windshield has additional heat insulation.
Introduced in 2022, the Lexus LX600 is not turning its back on technology, but even follows the flow of the times when it is equipped with a series of leading intelligent features in the luxury car world.
