According to some sources, Toyota may bring back the Previa minivan to the market in the near future.
According to Toyota Previa, it is a model of car that has been around for almost 30 years. After going through 3 generations, by 2019, this model has officially been discontinued.
In its return, it is highly likely that Toyota Previa will be developed based on the e-TNGA platform exclusively for electric vehicles. The car will be equipped with an electric drivetrain with a battery pack for a range of up to 600 km per charge. The drivetrain is either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Being equipped with an electric drivetrain, the size of the car is expected to increase compared to the previous gasoline version. The new generation Previa will be positioned in the same segment as the Alphard.
It is highly likely that the name Previa will be replaced with another name to fit the Toyota’s electric vehicle lineup. It is expected that Toyota Previa 2025 will have a price range of around 6.5 million yen (equivalent to 1.06 billion VND).
