Pickup trucks and SUVs are becoming increasingly popular with users. That’s why Volkswagen has unveiled the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition at the 2023 New York Auto Show.
This version, which focuses on off-road capabilities, draws design inspiration from the Atlas Basecamp concept and is one of the few cases where the production version looks better than the concept version.
The front of the vehicle stands out with its glossy black bumper and contrasting silver accents. The dark color theme is also reflected in the black radiator grille, accompanied by an illuminated Volkswagen logo.
Further moving away, we can see the plastic body cladding and matte silver accents, combined with the Peak Edition badge and black 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Additionally, we can also see the black mirror caps, black window surrounds, and black roof rails.
At the rear, the car is equipped with a black rear bumper and matte silver decorative accents, along with chrome exhaust tips. This version is offered in two exterior paint colors: Avocado Green and Pure Grey.
Inside the cabin, the car features black synthetic leather seats with light gray accents and contrasting orange stitching. Other highlights include black metal trim and a 30-color ambient lighting system. The car comes standard with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system.
Powering the car is a new 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing a maximum power of 269 horsepower and a peak torque of 370 Nm.
