BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter with a Price Tag of Nearly 550 Million VND, the Most Expensive in Vietnam

The first BMW CE 04 motorcycles have arrived in Vietnam, with some BMW Motorrad dealers pricing them at nearly 550 million dong. This will be one of the highest-priced electric motorcycles on the market today.

THACO AUTO – the official importer and distributor of BMW Motorrad motorcycles in Vietnam, has not yet announced the official selling price. However, due to the high interest from Vietnamese customers who want to own this model, some BMW Motorrad dealers in Vietnam have quoted the BMW CE 04 at 549 million VND.

The BMW CE 04 is one of the first models in BMW Motorrad’s electric motorcycle lineup. The model was introduced to the market by the German manufacturer in 2021 with only 1 version, and it has now been available in various markets around the world, including Vietnam.

The BMW CE 04 is designed for daily use and is equipped with an 8.9 kWh battery pack, providing a range of about 130 km. The electric motor of the motorcycle has a maximum power of 42 horsepower and can reach a top speed of 120 km/h.

The motor is placed in the middle of the motorcycle and transmits power to the rear wheel through a belt drive. The CE 04 is equipped with a reverse gear to assist the riders in maneuvering. The motorcycle has 4 riding modes: Eco, Rain, Road, and Dynamic.

The design of the BMW CE 04 is futuristic, muscular, and bold. The motorcycle has a long and low body with a wheelbase of 1,675 mm. It uses a suspension system with telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. The wheels are 15-inch cast alloy wheels, paired with front/rear tires with dimensions of 120/70 and 160/60 respectively.

The seat design of the BMW CE 04 is unique, with the rider and passenger sitting at a height of 780 mm, which can be increased to 800 mm with the Comfort Seat option. Below the rider’s seat, there is a spacious storage compartment that can accommodate a full-face helmet.
