The front electric motor produces 222 horsepower, while the rear electric motor produces 378 horsepower. Both motors offer a combined output of 601 horsepower and can surge to 641 horsepower in Boost mode, giving the car more power than the Kia EV6 GT. With this power, the Ioniq 5 N can complete a sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 260 km/h.

With fast charging technology, the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N can charge from 10-80% in 18 minutes. Drivers can optimize the battery’s performance with Hyundai’s N Battery Pre-conditioning system. This allows drivers to choose between Drag or Track mode. The car’s N Race feature with two other modes provides more control over the vehicle’s energy usage.

Hyundai does not provide the weight of the Ioniq 5 N, but reveals that it is heavier than the standard model. The Ioniq 5 N has larger wheels, a completely modified suspension system, new aerodynamic components, and an updated regenerative brake system, contributing to the model’s weight gain. However, Hyundai has tried to counterbalance the weight through software and other techniques.

Hyundai has manufactured the brake system from new lightweight materials with a hybrid structure, creating the company’s strongest braking system to date.

Hyundai has also increased comfort for drivers on the racetrack. The company has installed a headrest pad and a footrest on the reinforced center control cluster and added a sliding armrest. Hyundai has also lowered the seating position by about 0.79 inches, which comes with pixel-patterned fabric and leather or a combination of leather and eco-friendly Alcantara.
