Today, on September 19, 2023, Toyota Yaris Cross officially entered the B-segment SUV market in Vietnam. In the Vietnamese market, this B-segment SUV model is only available in 2 versions, gasoline and hybrid. The starting prices for these 2 versions are 730 million and 838 million VND, respectively.
$108 cheaper, what’s different in Toyota Yaris Cross gasoline version compared to the hybrid version? Let’s find out in the following article.
Exterior equipment of Toyota Yaris Cross in 2 versions
As mentioned, Toyota Yaris Cross is developed based on Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform, similar to the new generation Vios. Regardless of the version, the car has the dimensions of 4,310 x 1,770 x 1,615 mm (length x width x height), wheelbase of 2,620 mm, ground clearance of 210 mm, and a minimum turning radius of only 5.2 m.
Compared to the hybrid version, Toyota Yaris Cross gasoline version has a lighter kerb weight, only 1,175 kg. This mainly comes from the difference in engine.
Meanwhile, the exterior equipment of Toyota Yaris Cross gasoline and hybrid versions does not have many differences. Both are equipped with full LED headlights/taillights, front LED fog lights, LED position lights, automatic/on-familiarity headlights, electrically folding side mirrors, welcome lights and 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the gasoline version does not have an electric tailgate and integrated trunk lid sensors like the hybrid version.
