In the upgraded version, the KIA Carnival Facelift will receive enhancements from inside out, as well as an additional Hybrid transmission system. The car is expected to be launched at the end of this year.

Regarding the exterior design, the Kia Carnival Facelift will have a new appearance inspired by the EV9. This can be clearly seen through the new LED headlights on the Carnival facelift, which are placed vertically, along with the prominent horizontal LED daytime running lights.

At the rear, you can see the LED taillights with an inverted L-shaped graphic, completely different from the horizontal taillight design of the current version.

The trim on the C-pillar remains the same, but the Carnival facelift will be equipped with new wheels with a more dynamic design.

Automatic sliding doors, panoramic sunroof, spacious interior, SUV-inspired design language, suitable features and technical specifications, technology-filled interior along with ADAS system… will be the strengths of the new Carnival.

Meanwhile, the engine options for the Kia Carnival facelift are likely to remain the same as the current version. In the home market of South Korea, the 4th generation Kia Carnival is offered with the options of a 3.5L gasoline engine and a 2.2L diesel engine.

However, there are also speculations that the upgraded Kia Carnival will have a hybrid option that is said to be inherited from the Kia Sorento. The Sorento Hybrid currently has a combined power output of 227 horsepower, while the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid provides 261 horsepower. Both models use a T-GDi 1.6-liter turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor and different capacity batteries.

In addition, Kia will also add some missing equipment to this facelift version that was not available at the time of the 4th generation Carnival launch. The new equipment may include a HUD screen, Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2), a pair of curved 12-inch screens, fingerprint recognition, Ergo Motion Seats from the EV9…

The Kia Carnival 2024 may be officially launched in South Korea at the end of this year, and then will be available in other markets at the beginning of next year.
