In the Philippines market, the all-new Triton will be distributed with 7 variants, with prices ranging from PHP 1,134 million to PHP 1,915 million for the highest-end version (equivalent to VND 490-828 million).
Under the hood, the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton variant in the Philippines is equipped with a new 2.4L turbo-diesel engine. The highest-end Athlete variant has a maximum power of 204 PS and a peak torque of 470 Nm, while the single turbo variant delivers 184 PS and 430 Nm of torque.
Adding to the engine is a completely new chassis and platform established to provide better handling for the 2024 Triton. Last but not least, transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Like the Thai-launched version, the Philippines edition of the Triton also comes equipped with the Active Yaw Control active cornering control system, along with the Super Select II 4WD system and 7 driving modes.
In terms of safety, the 2024 Triton is now smarter and will be equipped with a multi-angle view screen to enhance surround visibility. The car is equipped with a range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including: forward collision warning, automatic headlights, blind spot monitoring with lane change assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, and hill start assist.
Noteworthy interior equipment on the 2024 Triton includes an entertainment system with a new 8-inch and 9-inch touchscreen. All variants will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity, with premium models featuring wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Exterior color options include: Blade Silver, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, Yamabuki Orange, White Diamond, and White Solid.
The Mitsubishi Triton 2024 will be officially launched in the Philippines on January 25th next year.
