About the exterior, the most notable change on the 2024 Nissan X-Trail is the larger grille and redesigned air intakes. The split headlamps remain the same but the LED graphics inside the taillights have been modified.
In addition, the car is also added with exterior paint colors including Everest White Pearl, Deep Ocean Blue Pearl and Baja Storm. Besides, the top-of-the-line Platinum version also receives glossy black accents on mudguards, side moldings, lower bumper and new 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the most notable upgrade is the integration of the Google app through the new infotainment system. This allows apps including Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play to be integrated into the car’s touch screen along with all the information from the user’s personal Google Account (address, contacts, etc.) without the need to connect the user’s Android device.
The Google app is standard equipment on the high-end SL and Platinum versions along with a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. These versions also come with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and 4 USB-C ports. For the standard S and SV versions, they have a smaller 8-inch screen with wired Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Regarding safety equipment, the base S model is equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 ADAS system as standard. The SV model is provided with advanced ProPilot Assist steering support, while the high-end SL and Platinum versions have the additional Navi-Link feature.
The 2024 Nissan X-Trail is equipped with a 1.5L VC-Turbo gasoline engine that produces a maximum power of 201 horsepower and a peak torque of 305 Nm. The 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is paired with an Xtronic CVT transmission, front-wheel or all-wheel drive (depending on the version).
The price of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail in the US market has not been announced yet.
