According to Autolife Thailand, the Toyota Yaris Cross 2024 has received 5,168 orders within one week since its launch, far exceeding the expected sales target of 2,000 units per month.
The Thai version of the Yaris Cross is assembled in Thailand. Similar to the Thai version of the Honda HR-V, the Yaris Cross is only available in Thailand with the hybrid petrol version. This system is a combination of the 2NR-VEX 1.5L 4-cylinder natural aspirated engine (91 PS/121 Nm) with an electric motor (80 PS/121 Nm).
In Thailand, the Toyota Yaris Cross is distributed in 3 versions, with the specific prices as follows:
– HEV Smart: 789,000 baht (equivalent to 521 million VND)
– HEV Premium: 849,000 baht (equivalent to 560 million VND)
– HEV Premium Luxury: 899,000 baht (equivalent to 594 million VND)
All versions of the Toyota Yaris Cross 2024 in Thailand are equipped with front-wheel drive. The main differences of the 3 versions mainly focus on equipment and amenities.
The base Smart version is equipped with standard full-LED headlights and taillights, LED front fog lights, 17-inch wheels and synthetic leather seats.
In addition, the base version also has a 10-inch infotainment screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic air conditioning, four USB ports, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and electronic parking brake.
The base version’s safety features include 6 airbags, reverse camera, anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, while the Toyota Safety Sense package is only available from the Premium variant onwards.
Moving up to the Premium version, Thai users will receive 17-inch dual-tone wheels, leather seats, and a 6-speaker sound system.
In terms of safety, the Premium version has two front parking sensors, front camera, anti-mispedal system, forward collision warning, as well as blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert (RCTA).
In the top-of-the-line Premium Luxury version, buyers are offered the option of two-tone colors for both the interior and exterior. In addition, the car also features a panoramic sunroof along with welcome lights on the rearview mirror.
Inside the cabin, the Premium Luxury version has a Pioneer 6-speaker sound system, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, hands-free power tailgate, and wireless phone charging. This version also has a 360-degree camera and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Meanwhile, in the Vietnamese market, the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross is distributed with 2 petrol and hybrid variants, with prices of 730 million and 838 million VND, respectively.
