Presented in Japan during the early 80s, Seibu Keisatsu was a TV program consisting of 236 episodes, showcasing the police force and its incredible high-speed pursuits. Nissan was one of the major sponsors of the show, and to celebrate an upcoming book release in Japan, the company brought out some of the cars from its Heritage Collection that had appeared in the TV show.

Among the cars that Nissan revealed this time, the most outstanding one is arguably the Nissan 280ZX, which the company modified with gullwing doors and… a machine gun on the hood. Inside the car, there are all sorts of computers, it’s not clear whether they work or not, but they are especially suitable for the show’s setting.

The Nissan Skyline doesn’t differ much from the original version when compared to the 280ZX, but it still has a strong, aggressive appearance thanks to the exclusive decals and modifications, especially the super-larger antenna and the set of additional lights on both sides, along with the bright red paint job.

Moreover, the convertible version of the Nissan Gazelle was reintroduced as a special edition, equipped with… a telephone inside the cabin – which is quite a normal feature nowadays but was considered a high-end rarity back in the 80s when it comes to the technology standard of that decade.
