Recently, the paparazzi continued to capture the test prototype, said to be the commercial version of the KIA Carnival Facelift. In this upgrade, the Kia Carnival may have a new look inspired by the EV9 design. We can clearly see the new LED headlights on the Carnival facelift placed vertically, along with the LED daytime running lights placed horizontally.

Another notable point is the wheel design of the 2024 Kia Carnival, which looks very striking, similar to concept car models.

The rear of the 2024 Kia Carnival is still carefully hidden under camouflage, but we can see the LED taillights with an inverted L-shaped graphic, completely different from the horizontal taillight design of the current version.

Automatic sliding doors, sunroof, spacious interior, SUV-inspired design language, suitable features and specifications, technology-filled interior along with ADAS system… will be the strengths of the new Carnival.

Meanwhile, the engine options for the Kia Carnival facelift are likely to remain the same as the current version. In the home market of South Korea, the 4th generation Kia Carnival is offered with options of a 3.5L gasoline engine and a 2.2L diesel engine.

However, there are also rumors that the upgraded Kia Carnival will have a hybrid option, which is believed to be inherited from the Kia Sorento. The Sorento Hybrid currently has a combined total power of 227 horsepower, while the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid provides 261 horsepower. Both models use a turbocharged 1.6-liter T-GDi engine combined with an electric motor and different capacity batteries.

In addition, Kia will also add some missing equipment to this facelift version at the time of the launch of the 4th generation Carnival. The new equipment may include a HUD screen, Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2), a pair of 12-inch curved screens, fingerprint recognition, Ergo Motion Seats from the EV9…

The 2024 Kia Carnival may be officially launched in South Korea at the end of this year, followed by other markets in early next year.
