Based on the latest leaked images and prototype shots, NYMammoth has created a design illustration for the upcoming Hyundai Tucson Facelift. The car will continue to maintain a bold and muscular appearance.

If recent upgrades of Hyundai’s products usually involve significant improvements when it comes to upgrading, this time the Korean automaker seems quite conservative, only applying small changes to the Hyundai Tucson Facelift.

Accordingly, the car will feature a bold front grille similar to the grille on the Santa Cruz model. In addition, the headlight cluster and front bumper have been redesigned for a more sporty look.

Moving to the rear, we can expect a redesigned rear bumper and updated taillights. Currently, there are many opinions hoping that Hyundai will eliminate the fang-like taillight arrangement as seen on the current version.

Inside the cabin of the Hyundai Tucson Facelift, I assume that most of the equipment and features of the upgraded version will be similar to the current version, except for the decorative highlights and new interior upholstery materials. The current Hyundai Tucson is already equipped with full of premium features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, over 60 connectivity features, ventilated and heated seats, panoramic sunroof, premium Bose audio system, wireless phone charging, and Hyundai SmartSense with level 2 ADAS.

Regarding the powertrain, depending on the markets, the Hyundai Tucson will be offered with various engine options. It is difficult for experts to predict any changes in the powertrain options with the facelift version of the Tucson, except for minor adjustments to make the engine more efficient and possibly upgrade the battery to increase the electric range for the PHEV variant.
