From the 1980s to now, every 5 years Harley-Davidson releases a special series to commemorate the company’s birthday. If we count from the early days when the idea of a two-wheeled motorcycle with a small engine was formed in 1903 until now, Harley-Davidson has turned 120 years old.
Earlier this year, Harley-Davidson introduced the “120th Anniversary 2023” collection with 7 special models, including: Fat Boy 114 Anniversary, Heritage Classic 114 Anniversary, Street Glide Special Anniversary, Ultra Limited Anniversary, Road Glide Special Anniversary, Tri Glide Ultra Anniversary, and CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary 117ci.
Recently, Harley-Davidson Vietnam has announced the date for the introduction of the 120th anniversary collection in Vietnam on July 5, 2023. The new models will be displayed at Harley-Davidson showrooms nationwide.
Aside from the CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary 117ci, the other 6 models are all painted with the characteristic Heirloom Red exterior color, along with vibrant red stripes, and a dark red interior color, transitioning from dark to light.
The seat of the bikes is also covered in red, while the gas tank features the “Harley-Davidson” logo along with the 120th anniversary markings, covered by a soaring eagle inspired by Art Deco. Among them, the grand-tourer CVO Road Glide, celebrating 120 years, enjoys a special paint color more than the other variants.

Besides the paint and decoration, the 120th anniversary Harley-Davidson models do not differ from their equivalent regular models in terms of technical specifications.
Harley-Davidson 120th anniversary editions are limited in production worldwide. Specifically, Softails will be produced the most, with 3,000 Fat Boy 114 Anniversary models and 1,700 Heritage Classic 114 Anniversary models.
The Street Glide Special Anniversary and Road Glide Special Anniversary will have a quantity of 1,600 each. In addition, there will be 1,300 Ultra Limited Anniversary models and 1,100 Tri Glide Ultra Anniversary models. Harley-Davidson will only produce 1,500 CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary 120-year models. Each bike will be laser-engraved with a serial number on the gas tank.
