The first difference of the KTM 390 Adventure X compared to the standard model is the two black and blue paint colors combined with a new decal pattern. However, the most notable changes of the bike are gathered in the electronics. The X variant has fewer features than the standard model by only using a monochrome LCD screen instead of color TFT with Bluetooth connectivity support.
Notably, this X version does not have the traction control system, riding modes, cornering ABS, and quickshifter. The retained features include full LED lighting, 2-channel ABS with Off-Road mode, slipper clutch, and a 12V USB-A socket.
The mechanical specifications of the KTM 390 Adventure X are the same as the standard version. Both use a liquid-cooled, 4-valve single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 373cc and a 6-speed gearbox. This engine produces a maximum power of 42.9 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 37 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The WP Apex suspension system and Bybre brakes of the bike also remain unchanged, hence the 390 Adventure X still delivers the most impressive riding experience in the under-500cc motorcycle segment.
In Vietnam, the KTM 390 Adventure 2022 is being officially distributed with a starting price of 236 million Vietnamese Dong (including VAT), which is three times more expensive than the one sold in the Indian market.
