Within the framework of the Japan Mobility Show 2023 exhibition, Honda has introduced the brand new Honda SCe Concept model to users. This is considered a preview version of an upcoming electric vehicle from Honda.
In terms of design, this electric scooter concept has the appearance of a scooter, with a large front fairing. This detail reminds many people of the famous Honda LEAD model from the Japanese brand.
The front of the vehicle is impressive with the headlight cluster, turn signals, and daytime running lights designed as a unified unit, embracing the front face of the scooter.
The rear of the scooter is softly curved, accompanied by a beautiful taillight cluster. The SCe also has a flat, spacious footboard and a single-tone leather saddle.
In this concept version, the scooter is not equipped with a screen, but the commercial version will likely have an LCD screen that can connect to a smartphone.
The Honda SCe is equipped with front telescopic forks and rear dual spring shock absorbers. Ensuring the safety of the vehicle are front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
Currently, Honda has not disclosed the motor specifications of this model. The company only revealed that the scooter will be equipped with two removable battery packs called the Mobile Power Pack. The batteries will be placed under the seat and the electric motor will be mounted on the rear wheel. The Honda SCe will have good mobility with integrated batteries and flexible battery replacement capabilities.
The scooter is expected to be launched in 2024, along with the time when Honda brings its range of electric motorcycles to “battle” in India.
