On the morning of October 25, 2023, Honda officially introduced the new generation CR-V to the Vietnamese market with 4 versions, including G, L, L AWD, and e:HEV RS, with prices ranging from 1.109 to 1.31 billion VND. Therefore, the 2024 Honda CR-V owns the highest price in its segment, approaching the D-segment SUVs.
High prices do not prevent this model from quickly being sold at dealerships. According to information from a sales consultant at a dealership, if customers want to receive the Honda CR-V 2024 e:HEV RS immediately, they need to buy additional accessories worth 50 million VND. The e:HEV RS is the second most expensive version of this model, priced at 1.259 billion VND.
In previous years, especially in 2022 when supply was limited due to component shortages, it was not uncommon for cars to be “sold with accessories” at dealerships. However, in 2023, the Vietnamese auto market is much less vibrant due to the impact of the economic recession. This has prompted car manufacturers and dealers to actively run promotion programs, discounts to attract customers. Therefore, the newly launched Honda CR-V 2024 surprised many people with its quick sales at dealerships.
