A theft occurred at the Edgewood auction yard in Washington, with a blue truck bearing the words โ€œU Map Trucking LLCโ€ on each side. The stolen truck is a 2003 white Freightliner. It was accompanied by three vintage cars in the trailer behind.

The classic cars in the rear carrier include a red 1953 Cadillac El Dorado, a two-door 1964 Ford Galaxy 500 with red interior, and a light blue 1954 Buick Century convertible with a white top.

The estimated value of these vehicles is over $500,000.

โ€œWe believe this was premeditated. Itโ€™s very unusual for an 18-wheel tow truck to be stolen. Not many people know how to drive them, so the thief must have been someone who knows how to operate a tow truck, and we suspect they know whatโ€™s inside the stolen vehicle. What theyโ€™re after isnโ€™t the truck and trailer, itโ€™s the vintage cars,โ€ said Detective Troyer.

The police are offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with useful information to identify the thief.
