In 1967, two engineers named Alex Tremulis and Thomas Summers collaborated to create a uniquely shaped two-wheeled car for testing purposes. This car was called the Gyro-X and is currently on display at a museum in Tennessee, USA. Little did anyone know that this car is now being sold on a website for a whopping price of 5 million USD.

This car is operated by two wheels attached in the front and the back of the car. It is powered by the engine from a classic car called the Mini Cooper S (released in 1967) with a 1.3-liter engine. The power has been improved to 80 horsepower, allowing the Gyro-X to reach a top speed of 200km/h. However, the car only operates steadily when driven at a maximum speed of 110km/h.

The engineers also continuously made improvements to ensure the safety of the car on the road. However, after a while, they sold the car to someone else.

In 1970, the new owner of the car added a third wheel to make it legally allowed to drive in California, USA. It then disappeared for a long time and no one knew who owned it.

In the mid-1990s, it was sold again by a collector living in Texas, USA, to the Lane Motor Museum in Tennessee, USA. The museum fully restored the car to its original condition.
