Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the high-performance versions of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 and 63 S E Performance Coupe after six months of launching the new generation of this luxury GLC Coupe SUV.

In this high-performance version, AMG GLC 43 and AMG GLC 63 are no longer equipped with V6 and V8 engines, instead, they have new 4-cylinder engines. However, they still demonstrate impressive and superior power figures compared to the previous generation, all thanks to advanced technologies from Formula 1 racing cars.

Specifically, providing power for these two models is a new 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combined with a mild hybrid system.

In the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe, the engine delivers a total output of 416 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The power is transmitted to all 4 wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission. This engine helps the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe 2024 accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds before reaching a maximum electronic limited speed of 250 km/h.

As for the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe, the petrol engine produces a maximum output of 469 horsepower, combined with a powerful 201 horsepower electric motor, high-performance battery and AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system. All of this results in a total output of up to 671 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,019 Nm. As a result, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a maximum electronic limited speed of 275 km/h.

In addition to the engine changes, the exterior of the high-performance version has also been slightly refined compared to the standard version.

Specifically, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 and 63 S E Performance Coupe 2024 will have a more aggressive and sporty look with a new Panamericana grille, along with vertical slats, a larger front air intake and prominent rear diffuser. To differentiate it from the standard version, the high-performance version also has 4 diamond-shaped exhaust tips.

In terms of the interior, the cabin of these two high-performance SUVs is equipped with a sporty AMG Performance steering wheel along with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system.

Currently, the German luxury car manufacturer has not yet revealed the price and sales timing for the 2024 AMG GLC.
