Autorounders, a car customization company in Mumbai, India, has transformed the first-generation Toyota Fortuner into a luxurious Lexus.
The ladder frame SUV can be seen as outdated, which is why the owner wanted to change the appearance of their “trusted companion”.
Specifically, Autorounders’ Facebook page posted before and after photos of the white first-generation (2004 – 2015) Toyota Fortuner makeover. Comparing the two photos, viewers couldn’t help but be amazed at Autorounders’ skillful transformation.
The front of the car “inherits” the distinctive Lexus spindle grille, faux air vents, new headlights, and a wider hood. The side of the car remains unchanged, but the color has been painted pearl white accompanied by gray alloy wheels.
The rear of the car is upgraded with LED taillights, a roof spoiler, a thick chrome strip connecting the two lights, and a sportier rear bumper.
The interior has also been “revamped” with white leather seats sewn with modern patterns, and the steering wheel has been upgraded to the second-generation Fortuner type. In addition, an infotainment screen has been added behind the front seats along with an Android update software and a 360-degree camera for easy observation.
The company did not disclose the cost of the car makeover but stated that it is not too expensive to own such a modified car. Nowadays, turning old cars into new ones has become common in many countries around the world.
