The World Motorcycle Technician Competition, organized by Honda Motor, took place on October 7-8, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. This was the first time the competition was held, and to participate, the contestants had to surpass over 89,000 technicians from all around the world. They represented the outstanding technicians from 5 regions, including Japan, Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Middle East.

The competition’s content this year included knowledge about Honda motorcycles, maintenance techniques, repair techniques, and diagnostic techniques. Despite competing with 10 experienced contestants from around the world on the Cub 110cc bike, a product not produced and distributed in the Vietnamese market, with their courage, confidence, knowledge, and skills, the Vietnamese technicians achieved the following overall results:
