When it comes to Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, car enthusiasts and car lovers alike remember a true fan of three famous car brands: Ferrari, Porsche, and Aston Martin. He owns a series of models from these brands, and a few rare cars in Vietnam such as McLaren Senna, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Toyota Supra mk IV, and Ford Mustang Shelby GT.
A well-known car dealership, which has a close relationship with Mr. Vu, recently posted images of the Audi R8 V10 Plus, which the businessman added to his car collection. It is rare to see this R8 model on the streets. Currently, the car has only traveled over 6,700 km, which is quite low compared to many other cars of the same generation (2015-2017).
Estimations suggest that the coffee tycoon had to spend no less than 9 billion VND to own this German supercar. On the current market, an Audi R8 V10 Plus with 26,000 km on the odometer is being offered for over 9 billion VND. Due to its pristine condition, Mr. Vu’s R8 may be valued at around 11 billion VND.
Originally, the exterior of the car was adorned with a bright red paint. After it came into the hands of the entrepreneur from Khanh Hoa province, the color was changed to black – one of his favorite colors for the million-dollar car collection, including military green, silver, white, and black. The white color on the hood adds an extra touch.
The car stands out with its unique V10 engine, a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter engine shared with the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4. This engine delivers a maximum power of 602 horsepower and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. The power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
The interior remains mostly unchanged and still looks quite new, despite some wrinkles on the seats. The dominant color is black, accentuated with red stitching. Carbon fiber is used to decorate the dashboard, control panel, and air conditioning vents, enhancing the aesthetics of the cabin.
In addition to the recently purchased Audi R8 V10 Plus, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu is known to be the owner of two other unique R8 models in Vietnam. First, there is the R8 V10 Spyder 2015 with the license plate number “8888,” which was once owned by Novaland. The other one is the R8 Performance 2021, which was sold by a food industry magnate.
