After much anticipation, the “heir” of the Escape, the all-new Ford Territory, has finally been launched in the Vietnamese market, threatening the likes of Tucson, Sportage, HR-V, and Corolla Cross.

Without giving the market time to “cool off” after the hot hit duo Everest and Ranger, Ford Vietnam officially launched the all-new Territory family SUV on the afternoon of October 10, 2022. With a youthful design, superior equipment, and excellent safety driving assistance technology, Territory promises to help Ford enter the most competitive segment of the market, with a series of strong competitors such as Toyota Corolla Cross, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, and Honda HR-V.

Unlike its siblings Everest and Ranger, Ford Territory adopts an eye-catching and trendy appearance that is suitable for young users. According to the American brand, the new design language on Territory reflects a flow of abundant energy.

The front grille of the car is designed with a large size and a chrome-plated louver pattern that gives a premium feel – quite similar to the Everest. The C-shaped demi lights on the duo of siblings Everest – Ranger have been simplified into a more youthful L shape.

A thin chrome strip runs horizontally across the hood, adding recognition to the SUV. Meanwhile, the main lighting system consists of 2 bi-LED lights on each side, separated from the demi light cluster and lowered down – a layout style that is quite familiar to recent models.

Ford equips Territory with 18-inch rims. Along with that are eye-catching two-tone alloy wheels, paired with Goodyear tires.

The rear roof of the car is designed with a sporty coupe style. The brake lights are arranged synchronously in the same design as the front lights, giving a youthful and modern overall look to the car.

Entering the interior compartment, Ford Territory welcomes users with a modern atmosphere: a pair of screens behind the steering wheel and a 12.3-inch entertainment center screen confidently boast the largest size in the segment. It is accompanied by a 6-8 speaker entertainment sound system, depending on the version.

This screen system will communicate with users through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity standards. Users will be provided with the ability to observe the surroundings through the 360-degree camera system, supporting observation when traveling at low speeds (below 15 km/h) or when indicating a turn signal.

The dashboard is divided into two layers in a modern design with contrasting colors. The air vents are integrated in a sophisticated manner. The central control cluster on the console is asymmetrically designed with modern knobs, a wireless charging pad, and up to 20 conveniently positioned storage compartments around the seating positions.

The all-new 2023 Ford Territory steering wheel is completely redesigned with a flat bottom D-cut design that emphasizes sportiness and youthfulness. Both sides of the steering wheel are fully equipped with modern function buttons to support modern operation.

The American SUV is equipped with perforated leather seats, accompanied by cooling for the backrest and automatic dual-zone air conditioning with premium fine dust filtering function.

The spacious interior can comfortably accommodate 5 adults on long journeys. In particular, the rear floor is flattened to optimize legroom for passengers. Unfortunately, the car is still lacking a sunroof.

In addition to the spacious seating area, Ford Territory also provides users with a very spacious trunk, up to 488 liters and expandable up to 1,422 liters when folding the seats; suitable for long camping trips for the whole family.

Under the hood, Ford equips Territory with a turbocharged EcoBoost 1.5L engine with a power output of 160 horsepower and a peak torque of 248 Nm when paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Not inferior to the two siblings Everest and Ranger, Ford Territory is also equipped with 4 driving modes, including: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Mountain; enhancing the flexible operating capability of the car: saving fuel for daily use and maximizing power for off-road operations.

Along with the new engine-transmission system, the completely new 2023 Ford Territory also comes with advanced Co-Pilot 360 safety technology, including: automatic parking assistance, 360-degree camera system, lane departure warning combined with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with start-stop function, emergency automatic braking with collision warning, and door opening collision warning.

In addition, we cannot overlook other modern safety features on Territory such as: lane keeping and lane departure warning, tire pressure monitoring, the latest 9th generation electronic stability control from Bosch…

Three versions: Titanium X, Titanium, and Trend are listed by the American brand with respective prices of 822 million, 899 million, and 935 million VND. The car will be available in 5 color options and is expected to reach customers in early November 2022.

Ford Vietnam will provide Territory with additional services such as: product consultation experts, home delivery, quick maintenance, mobile services… putting customer convenience at the top.
