It’s only been a few months since this bike was launched and now Honda has introduced the new CB750 Hornet in the Southeast Asian market, with Thailand being the first destination. The bike is priced at 319,000 Thai baht (about 217 million Vietnamese dong), and comes in two paint colors, Graphite Black and Pear Glare White. Will this model make its way to Vietnam in the near future?

The design of the 2023 Honda CB750 Hornet is quite simple and has many similarities with its younger sibling, the CB500F, especially in the front headlight cluster, but more compact and angular. The tail of the bike is also quite similar to the CB500F with separate turn signal lights that protrude outwards.

The front suspension of the bike is equipped with 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks (Separate Function Fork Big Piston). At the rear, there is a damper connected to the steel swingarm through the Pro-Link system with 5 levels of preload adjustment.

In terms of braking performance, the new Honda CB750 Hornet is equipped with dual front discs measuring 296mm, accompanied by Nissin 4-piston calipers. The rear wheel features a single 240mm disc with a single piston caliper, and comes standard with a 2-channel ABS system.

According to Honda, the new CB750 Hornet features a lightweight frame and a more compact design, weighing about 16.6 kg, which is 1.9 kg lighter than the CB650R (which weighs 18.5 kg).

The all-new Honda CB750 Hornet is equipped with a parallel-twin engine with a displacement of 755cc, liquid-cooling, and an overhead camshaft, producing 90 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 74.4 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with assist slipper clutch.

In terms of technology, the new 2023 Honda CB750 Hornet comes standard with Throttle By Wire, 4 riding modes (RAIN, STANDARD, SPORT, and CUSTOM). Furthermore, the bike features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and integrated wheel control with customizable settings, as well as smartphone connectivity with the Honda RoadSync app.
