Before Race 1 of the AP250 category took place, heavy rain made the teams have to switch to tires made for slippery roads. This was really a challenging task because running on wet roads is not easy, especially on a track with many high slopes and difficult turns.
Cao Việt Nam made good use of his slippery road driving skills to finish 11th in Race 1 of Stage 3 ARRC 2022.
However, challenges are also opportunities if you know how to take advantage of them, and Cao Việt Nam did a great job of this. Right from the first corner, Honda Racing Vietnam’s #65 rider overtook a series of other riders and secured the 8th position. The “crazy man” continued to maintain his position before falling off in lap 2. He immediately got up and continued racing. This is when his courage and skill were shown. Despite dropping to 14th place, Cao Việt Nam still made effort to finish 8th. A truly commendable result.

Despite falling off, Cao Việt Nam immediately got up and continued racing to finish at 11th position.
When asked what motivated him to get up and continue racing, Cao Việt Nam said: “When it started raining, I thought it was a good opportunity to compete for the top because I have experience handling slippery conditions. And when I fell off, there was still the urge and daring inside me because I knew I still had the ability to score. Although I didn’t make it to the top 10, I am satisfied with today’s performance.
So, with the 5 points earned in Race 1, Cao Việt Nam now has a total of 31 points in the AP250 category of ARRC 2022 season.
Race 2 of the AP250 category will take place at 12:00 noon tomorrow. Let’s follow and cheer for rider Cao Việt Nam and the Honda Racing Vietnam team!
