In 2020, Ferrari’s racing team participated in the 1,000th Formula 1 World Championship, so the team’s F1 race car was named SF1000. The Ferrari SF1000 race car has been significantly improved in terms of technology compared to the SF90 used by the Ferrari racing team in the 2019 season, with a focus on upgrading the suspension system to increase durability.

Under the control of the two drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc, the SF1000 will have the simple task of aiming for the championship in the 2020 season together with the Ferrari racing team. The new F1 race car – Ferrari SF1000 – will officially hit the track for the first time during the testing session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Spain) on February 19, 2020.

The 2020 F1 World Championship will consist of 22 races worldwide. The first race will take place in Australia on March 15. Notably, the 2020 F1 season will also be the first season to have a race in Vietnam on April 5. This means that racing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to witness the Ferrari SF1000 race car and the legendary F1 drivers of Ferrari compete with their opponents on the F1 race track in Hanoi.
