This is truly disappointing for the members of the Honda Racing Vietnam team in their desire to conquer the challenge of the new season, as well as those who have loved and are loving the team. However, ensuring the health of the entire team is what Honda Racing Vietnam aims for. The technical team of Honda Racing Vietnam will return to Vietnam on February 29th, instead of the schedule from Thailand to Malaysia as before.
According to the initial schedule, Honda Racing Vietnam will compete in all 7 stages of ARRC 2020 in 2 categories UB150 and AP250. In which, the first stage is the Sepang racetrack, Malaysia in the period from 6-8 / 3/2020.
ARRC 2020 schedule
ARRC started from 1996. The tournament is known as one of the most prestigious racing tournaments in Asia and the Asia-Pacific region, laying the foundation for national champions to move up to a higher level, while opening up a new chapter for this dramatic sport in Asia. Currently, the tournament takes place with 4 categories of competition: UB150cc, AP250cc, SS600cc and ASB1000cc.
HVN started racing at the Asian Motorcycle Racing (ARRC) from 2016 as Yuzy’s racing team from Malaysia. In the 2019 season, HVN officially established Honda Racing Vietnam team – the first and only racing team from Vietnam up to the present time to compete in ARRC. In the first year of independent competition, the team achieved progress at the UB150 and AP250 categories.
In the 2020 season, the entire Honda Racing Vietnam team will continue to compete in the UB150 and AP250 categories with the goal of achieving higher performance rankings than in 2019. At the ARRC 2020 tournament, the Honda Racing Vietnam team includes 3 racers: Nguyen Duc Thanh # 193 and Nguyen Anh Tuan # 178 participating in the UB150 category, Cao Viet Nam # 65 participating in the AP250 category, and Team manager cum Technical Chief of the UB150 category Tran Trung Dung.
