According to statistics, about 40% of customers who purchase the Mitsubishi Xforce model in Indonesia are women. This indicates that this will also be an important customer group when the Mitsubishi Xforce comes to Vietnam.
Since its launch at the Gaikindo International Auto Show in August, Mitsubishi Indonesia has received over 4,000 orders for the B-size SUV model Xforce. Currently, the Japanese carmaker has started delivering the first 50 Xforce to customers in Indonesia. The remaining vehicles will continue to be delivered by the end of this year.
In addition to Indonesia, Mitsubishi Xforce will continue to be launched in other Southeast Asian markets. It is expected that the car will be introduced in Vietnam before Lunar New Year.
Currently, Xforce is still available for deposit in Vietnam with many attractive offers (from September 1 to November 30 this year with free 2-year maintenance or 40,000 km depending on conditions, along with 1,000 points accumulated on the Mitsubishi Connect+ application).
According to sales consultants, Xforce is expected to be available in 3 or 4 versions with prices ranging from 650 – 750 million VND.Mitsubishi Xforce is positioned in the B-segment crossover/SUV, directly competing with rivals such as Toyota Corolla Cross, Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and MG ZS.
The newcomer from Mitsubishi has dimensions of 4,390 x 1,810 x 1,660 mm (length x width x height) respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm and ground clearance of 222 mm.
The car features a modern and sporty design with the distinctive Dynamic Shield design language of the brand. Overall, the commercial version retains the youthful and stylish elements of the concept version, but has been refined in terms of fog light and mirror design to better suit practical usage.
In terms of interior, Xforce boasts a luxurious cabin with a mélange fabric dashboard and door trim, while the seats are made of synthetic leather. The Mitsubishi newcomer is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with an elegant design, providing a comfortable experience for users. The main screen is divided into three zones, allowing for multiple interfaces and displaying various information at the same time.
The car features the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system developed by Mitsubishi in collaboration with Yamaha. This system includes an eight-speaker configuration, with tweeters on both sides of the A-pillars, front door bass speakers, and coaxial speakers in the rear doors.
According to sales consultants, the highest-spec Mitsubishi Xforce in Vietnam will be equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and mitigation, automatic headlights, forward-moving vehicle alert, lane change assist with blind spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Powering the Xforce is a 1.5L MIVEC engine, with 4 cylinders, producing 105 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
