Official launch of VMRC 2023 with Stage 1 in Binh Duong

The Vietnam Motorcycle Racing Championship (VMRC), sponsored by Honda Vietnam Company (HVN), will officially kick off its 2023 season with Round 1 at Dai Nam racetrack, Binh Duong province on June 18th. The 2023 season is expected to consist of five rounds.

HVN continues to be the main sponsor, accompanying the Vietnam Motorcycle Racing Federation (VMRC) 2023. In the new 2023 season, HVN has expanded the age range for participating in VMRC, from 15 down to 13 years old. In addition, participants in this year’s tournament are carefully evaluated and selected by a team of experts from abroad.

The competition categories in this year’s season include:

– Young Talent: This category uses the NSF100 sports bike model, for young racers from 13 to 17 years old aiming to find talent seeds to train and participate in international tournaments.

– Sales Specialization: Category aiming to develop racers who have experience in the Vietnam Talent Cup category of the previous season. Racers will use upgraded underbone and manual transmission bikes by HVN technicians to compete.

– Professional Specialization: Category for professional racing clubs in Vietnam. Racing teams will use Winner X modified bikes to compete. This category promises to bring the audience exciting performances on the track.

In addition to the impressive performances of racers in the 5 competition categories, the audience also gets to participate in other experiential activities at the Dai Nam race track, including:

– Gymkhana driving activities: With guidance from experts and members of the Honda Racing Vietnam team, the audience will challenge themselves as professional racers, experiencing every corner, accelerating, and competing in a challenging gymkhana course. This helps improve driving skills and deepen the understanding and love for this high-speed sport.

– Mini racetrack for children: Specially designed for “young racers” from 3-12 years old, with 2 activities: balance bike racing for children from 3-6 years old and CRF50 riding experience for children from 7-12 years old. The mini racetrack provides young children with the opportunity to get acquainted with and experience two-wheeled vehicles, thereby enhancing their awareness and early control skills of vehicles.

With thrilling corners, talented drivers, and a series of experiential activities and attractive gifts, VMRC 2023 promises to bring a lively and passionate atmosphere to the participating audience and the Vietnamese people.
