In the period of 2022 – 2023, the Vietnamese automobile market witnessed the remarkable breakthrough of SUV/CUV models as users shifted towards the trend of high-riding cars. This implies that the market share of other segments will gradually shrink, but the B-sedan segment seems to be an exception. Evidence of this is that all 3 popular models in the B-sedan segment ranked in the top 10 best-selling cars in the Vietnamese automobile market in 2022. Among them, Toyota Vios is the leading model with 23,529 units. Hyundai Accent ranked second and Honda City ranked sixth on the ranking. This has proven that the B-sedan segment still maintains its appeal and is a preferable choice for Vietnamese customers.

Double the benefits when buying a Toyota Vios
Understanding the high demand for transportation and the desire to own a car at the end of the year, Toyota Vietnam and its dealership network have created opportunities for customers to easily own the Vios – the “national” sedan model with a 50% registration fee discount program. In addition, the Government applies a policy of supporting a 50% registration fee discount for domestically manufactured and assembled cars. Therefore, when buying a Vios, customers are exempted from 100% registration fee, saving up to 60 million VND in on-road costs. Along with the registration fee discount, from now until December 31, 2023, customers who buy a Vios will receive an additional 1-year Toyota body insurance package as a promotion. The program is applicable to customers who purchase vehicles, complete payment, and authorized dealers issue value-added invoices from now until December 31, 2023.
As a customer who purchased Vios in the October promotion, Mr. Văn Xuân from Thanh Hóa said: “I had planned to try my best to save enough money to buy a car by the end of December 2023 so that my whole family could comfortably and safely travel back to our hometown. But in early October, when I read about the registration fee discount promotion for Vios, I confidently bought the Vios E-CVT right away and got a 53 million VND discount on the registration fee. Thanks to that, I bought it outright without the need to borrow or wait until the end of December”.
