Recently, Volvo announced that the all-electric SUV model EX90 will be widely available in the US next year. In addition, the Swedish carmaker also revealed the pricing and detailed specifications of this product.

Volvo EX90 will have two configurations of 7 seats or 6 seats, two engine options and two decoration options. Therefore, a total of 8 versions are available for customers to choose from, with prices ranging from 76,695 – 86,545 USD, equivalent to 1.86 – 2.1 billion VND.

Starting with the EX90 Twin Motor Plus version, the car is equipped with distinctive Thor’s Hammer LED headlights, combined with glossy black accents and 20-inch alloy wheels. This version is also equipped with rain-sensing wipers and a panoramic sunroof.

Moving inside, the standard EX90 features a 9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system integrated with Google. Other notable features include 8-way power-adjustable leather front seats, front/rear seat heating, power-folding third-row seats, HUD display, wireless charging, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, 4-zone automatic climate control, wooden steering wheel.

In terms of safety, the EX90 is equipped with a range of driver assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Aid, Blind Spot Information System, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Large Animal Detection, Occupant Sensor, Road Sign Information, and Collision Alert with Vehicle, Pedestrian, and Cyclist Detection. In addition, the car also features the new generation Pilot Assist system integrated with Lidar sensors.

Customers who want a more luxurious vehicle can choose the EX90 Twin Motor Ultra version. This version is added with laminated windows, welcome lights and larger 21-inch wheels. The interior of this version is also premium with front seat massage function, optional leather seats, and a premium 25-speaker Wilkins sound system. Additionally, the car is equipped with an air suspension system to provide a more comfortable driving experience for customers.

The Volvo EX90 is based on the SPA2 electric vehicle platform of its parent company Geely, similar to the Polestar 3. In the standard version, the car is equipped with 2 electric motors with a power output of 402 horsepower, torque of 769 Nm, and a 111kWh battery pack. This setup allows the electric SUV to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 5.7 seconds, reach a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h), tow up to 2,200 kg and travel up to 483 km on a full charge.

In the Performance version, the EX90 has 498 horsepower and 909 Nm of torque. This power allows the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.

The Volvo EX90 will be produced at the company’s plant in South Carolina and available for sale in the US from early 2024.
