Genesis is refreshing and expanding its luxury SUV lineup with the introduction of the GV80 and GV80 Coupe 2025.

The Genesis brand has seen tremendous growth in recent years, not only by using a quality-oriented approach to become more competitive but also through the expansion of its product lineup. Prior to the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show, Genesis unveiled the all-new GV80 Coupe 2025 and the GV80 facelift.

In fact, the Genesis GV80 Coupe 2025 is the production version of the GV80 Coupe Concept that was introduced in April at the 2023 New York Auto Show. In the rapidly growing mid-size luxury SUV segment, the GV80 Coupe 2025’s size and elegant styling make it a strong competitor against rivals such as the BMW X6, Audi Q8, Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe, and Porsche Cayman Coupe.

In terms of styling, the Genesis GV80 Coupe 2025 is not significantly different from the standard GV80, except for the sloping roofline towards the rear. Other details on the vehicle remain similar to the GV80 facelift, including the new LED microlens array (MLA) headlights, a softer grille at the corners, and a newly designed dual-line mesh grille. A large intake grille gives the SUV a sportier look.

The Genesis GV80 Coupe 2025 features exclusive 20-inch or 22-inch wheels. At the rear, the vehicle also has an integrated air spoiler with taillights that run across the tailgate.

Regarding the interior, the Genesis GV80 Coupe 2025 inherits almost everything from the GV80 2025. The vehicle is equipped with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a redesigned center control panel with a rotating infotainment system control and a rotary dial gear selector, as well as a new 27-inch OLED display on the dashboard.

According to Genesis, the GV80 Coupe 2025 will have unique stitching lines and carbon fiber accents in certain areas, along with additional metal accents on the brake and accelerator pedals for enhanced grip.

Unlike some sport utility vehicles with weak powertrains that deliver a dull driving experience, the Genesis GV80 Coupe 2025 will be offered with two drivetrain options, including a premium variation, promising an exhilarating experience for users.

As standard, the coupe variant of the GV80 utilizes a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, producing 375 horsepower, and will also have a variant of a gasoline engine combined with a 48 Volt hybrid system. Hyundai states that this combination will provide 409 horsepower.

Meanwhile, the Genesis GV80 2025 will be offered with two different engines including a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower and a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 375 horsepower.
