At the famous SEMA 2023 car show taking place in the US, Lexus has brought 3 modified versions of its popular SUV models, including the new generation GX 2024, GX 2022, and LX 2022. Each Lexus model is equipped with unique accessories from Lexus’ Accessory Associate Program (AAP).
To celebrate the arrival of the new generation Lexus GX, the Japanese luxury brand has displayed all generations of the Lexus GX, including Lexus GX470 2008, Lexus GX470 2009, Lexus GX460 2010, and AAP Builds models including the previous generation Lexus GX 460 Premium 2022 and the completely new Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ 2024.
Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ AAP Build 2024
The new generation GX is considered the spotlight of SEMA 2023 and is sure to attract the most attention from visitors as it is developed based on the top-of-the-line GX 550 Overtrail+ version. Under the hood is the original twin-turbocharged V6 3.4L engine, producing a maximum power of 349 horsepower. Lexus still retains the standard 18-inch wheels that come with Toyo Open Country A/T 33-inch tires but adds an air compressor for the tires as well as roof racks to protect the vehicle when traveling on rugged terrains, combined with standard aluminum skid plates.
Most importantly, the roof tent, rear window accessories, and Pelican’s BX90R and BX55S cargo boxes are combined with the truck bed protection CXB550 of Prinsu to enhance the practicality of the SUV for adventurous journeys.
Lexus GX 460 Premium AAP Build 2022
The previous generation of Lexus GX also received great attention at this year’s Sema Show with a range of unique accessories. The Lexus GX 460 Premium 2022 is highlighted by its Matte Yellow Saffron paint and is equipped with 18-inch wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T 34-inch tires. The vehicle’s underbody protection has been enhanced with CBI Offroad skid plates and rock sliders. Under the hood, the original V8 4.6L engine still generates 301 horsepower.
Camping enthusiasts will be thrilled with this modified Lexus GX 460 Premium 2022, which is equipped with a Kammok Roo Double Hammock for 2 people that can be stowed on the Prinsu Roof Rack. The SUV is also equipped with an ARB refrigerator and freezer in the rear to ensure that food and drinks are well preserved during long off-road adventures.
Lexus LX 600 Premium AAP Build 2022
The only modified model at Sema that does not belong to Lexus’ GX line is the Lexus LX 600 Premium AAP Build 2022. This standout large SUV features custom Aquamarine blue paint, contrast matte gray grille, 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T 33-inch tires, and shiny black accents around the body. Like all Lexus LX 600 models, this AAP version is still equipped with the twin-turbocharged V6 3.5L engine producing 409 horsepower.
Lexus says the LX AAP Build is the perfect choice for a spontaneous weekend camping trip with a Kammok Crosswing Car Awning for shade and rain protection. Additionally, there is a small kitchen for cooking, paddleboarding, and surfing boards mounted on the roof rack.
