According to Carscoops, VinFast’s small electric car is eligible for a $7,500 tax credit from the federal tax credit fund when leased under current regulations, reducing the lease price to $12,500.
VinFast has officially announced the VF 3 electric vehicle in June, designed specifically for the Vietnamese market but it is highly likely that this model will also be sold in the US.
According to VinFast representatives, many dealers in the US are eager to sell the VF 3 model.
In an interview with Auto News, VinFast stated that they have had meetings with VinFast dealers in the US and have received positive responses to the VF 3 model. In addition, VinFast representatives in the US stated that the company has surveyed about 100 dealers and almost all of them want to sell the VF 3 model because they believe it can be priced under $20,000.
VF 3 belongs to the small car segment (Mini car). The car has a overall length of about 3,114 mm, with a 2-door design on the side, 1 rear trunk door, and enough interior space for 5 passengers. The compact and tall body, equipped with 16-inch wheels, creates a large ground clearance, making it easy to move on various terrains.
