The system works in situations such as stealing the key, making fake keys, or breaking the lock, including attempts to bypass the protective device.

The second layer of protection utilizes telecommunications networks and Global Positioning System (GPS) to prevent criminal activities, including remote engine shut off commands, location determination for investigation and search purposes.

In addition, Smart Motor users can also enjoy various integrated features such as vehicle tracking, finding gas stations, and ATM locations.

According to Mr. Do Minh Phuong, CEO of Viettel Telecom, the price of Smart Motor is suitable for most users: VND 1.55 million per set, including installation, network activation, and the first year of service, with subsequent years costing VND 300,000 per year.
