When Kia introduced the K5 facelift last week, the brand only revealed images of the regular version. Fortunately, Woopa TV’s Youtube channel has recently released a video teasing the sportier-looking GT-Line version parked in an underground car park in South Korea.

Although this 2024 Kia K5 GT-Line was spotted in South Korea, it seems to be the standard version for the US market. We can tell this from the orange reflector found on the front fender of the car. It’s worth noting that despite not being officially unveiled, this car doesn’t have any camouflage.
The 2024 Kia K5 GT-Line still features redesigned headlights and taillights in the style of recent Kia electric models resembling the regular version but with a more aggressive front fascia. Since this is not the actual GT variant with a quad-tipped exhaust system, the GT-Line model has a pair of large fake exhaust tips at the rear, combined with a diffuser.
Although the video doesn’t allow us to peek inside, the official images released earlier show that the car will have an updated dashboard with a pair of curved displays. Additionally, the central control area has been redesigned to look neater and more modern with the shift lever changed to a compact knob.
The 2024 Kia K5 also has high-resolution front and rear cameras that can record and store footage. Other changes include a new HUD display, additional soundproofing materials, and over-the-air software update support.
In the South Korean market, the 2024 Kia K5 is available with a naturally aspirated 2.0L gasoline engine producing 160 horsepower, a turbocharged 1.6L engine with 180 horsepower, a 2.0L LPI engine with 146 horsepower, and a 2.0L hybrid engine with 152 horsepower. The starting price of the 2024 Kia K5 in the domestic market is from 27,840,000 won, equivalent to about 20,500 USD.
It is currently unclear when the US version of the Kia K5 will be unveiled, but it is likely to happen next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show as Kia will be participating in the event.
