Wuling is a subsidiary brand developed and operated by SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture, and the brand’s direction in the young Chinese market is towards new energy vehicles (NEVs), among which the product that has made waves in this populous market as well as international markets is the Hongguang Mini EV.

Understanding that one model cannot sustain the company’s sales in the long term, Wuling has developed a fleet of vehicles across various segments, and one of them is the upcoming Starlight, positioned in the mid-size sedan segment.
