Yesterday, on December 1, 2023, Honda Vietnam announced a new official promotion program for all of its car models. In this program, Honda City receives 100% exemption on registration fees, equivalent to the previous two months. This program includes 50% support from the company and 50% from the Government according to the policy for domestically produced and assembled vehicles until December 31, 2023.

Honda Vietnam’s promotional campaign will apply to customers who sign car purchase contracts for the City model and complete 100% payment procedures from December 5-31, 2023. At the same time, the program will apply according to a 10% registration fee rate.

Honda City currently has 3 versions with prices ranging from 559 – 609 million VND. With the 100% registration fee exemption program, customers will save from 56 – 61 million VND, depending on the version and province or city of registration.

Of course, Honda City is not the only B-segment sedan model to receive 100% registration fee exemption in December 2023. Honda City’s competitor, Toyota Vios, also applies the same official promotion program.

City is currently one of Honda Vietnam’s best-selling models. In October 2023, this B-segment sedan achieved sales of 751 units, the highest among all Honda Vietnam’s car models. Cumulatively from the beginning of the year to now, Honda City has achieved sales of 7,507 units, ranking behind Hyundai Accent and Toyota Vios in the B-segment sedan segment.

Compared to its segment competitors, Honda City impresses with its sporty design and full safety equipment. Specifically, the car is equipped with Honda Sensing active safety system as standard, including 6 features: collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), adaptive headlights (AHB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane keeping assist system (LKAS), and front collision warning (LCDN).

In addition, the car is also equipped with LED headlights, power-adjustable/foldable/retractable LED turn signal side mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, leather seats/steering wheel, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-speaker audio system, and automatic air conditioning.

Furthermore, Honda City receives high praise for its spacious interior and driving experience. The 2023 Honda City’s engine remains unchanged, with a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder DOHC petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 119 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a continuous variable transmission (CVT).
