Recently, during the launch event of the Mazda2 2024 in the Indonesian market, Mazda unveiled the updated version of the CX-5. In this market, the Japanese C-size SUV still comes in 2 versions: Elite 2WD and Kuro AWD, just like before.
The Elite 2WD version focuses on the sleek design of the Mazda CX-5 2024. This version features body-color side moldings, front/rear splitters, and wheel arches. In the previous version, these details were all painted black.

In addition, it features new silver 19-inch alloy wheels, similar to the ones used for the Mazda CX-5 in Vietnam. Furthermore, the Elite 2WD version of the Mazda CX-5 2024 in Indonesia also comes with a new paint color called Platinum Quarts Metallic.

As for the Kuro AWD version, this C-size SUV is designed to be more sporty and masculine. The Kuro AWD version stands out with glossy black exterior details such as the grille and side moldings. The 19-inch wheels of the Kuro AWD version have a multi-spoke design similar to the Elite 2WD version but are painted black.

In addition to the minor exterior upgrades, the Mazda CX-5 2024 in the Indonesian market is also equipped with interior features. The C-size SUV now has cooling function for the front seats, USB Type C ports, and a new 10.25-inch Mazda Connect Display infotainment screen.

The remaining equipment of the Mazda CX-5 2024 for the Indonesian market remains unchanged. The car still features LED headlights, LED DRLs, leather seats, smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bose 10-speaker audio system, heads-up display, keyless entry/start, power-adjustable/memory seats, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and hands-free power liftgate with foot sensor.
The “heart” of the Mazda CX-5 2024 in the Indonesian market continues to be the SkyActiv-G 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.5L. The engine produces a maximum power of 188 horsepower and a peak torque of 251 Nm. The power is transmitted to the wheels through a 6-speed SkyActiv Drive automatic transmission, and the car is available in both 1-wheel drive and 2-wheel drive versions. Moreover, the engine also features cylinder deactivation technology to reduce fuel consumption.
In the Indonesian market, the Mazda CX-5 2024 has a price range of 628.8 – 668.8 million Rupiah (approximately 993 million to 1.05 billion Vietnamese Dong). Compared to the Mazda CX-5 in Vietnam, which has a price range of 749 – 999 million Vietnamese Dong, the Indonesian version is considerably more expensive.
