Chery New Energy is a brand specializing in the production of electric vehicles by Chery, a Chinese car manufacturer. The company plans to return to the Vietnamese market with its sub-brands. Therefore, car enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see if Chery will bring the iCAR 03 to Vietnam next year or not.
In the domestic market, Chery New Energy just announced the official prices of the iCAR 03 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Specifically, there are 2 versions of the car. The first is the 2WD version, which will have a price range from 140,000 Chinese yuan to 160,000 Chinese yuan, equivalent to 459 million VND to 525 million VND.
Next is the Chery New Energy iCAR 03 4WD version, which will have a price range from 160,000 Chinese yuan to 190,000 Chinese yuan, equivalent to 525 million VND to 623 million VND. The expected delivery time is next month.
In terms of appearance, the iCAR 03 features a two-tone design on the upper and lower parts of the car, bumper, wheel arches, window frame, and roof, all in different colors compared to the body of the car. Vertical headlights are used at the front and rear, and the letter “i” is used in the design. The design of the letters is reminiscent of the car logo “i”. The entire body of the car is designed with a strong and sturdy appearance, ensuring a certain level of interior spaciousness.
The tail of the car features a square-shaped small book design, and the trunk is designed to open on one side. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4406/1910/1715mm, the wheelbase is 2715mm, and it will be equipped with 18-inch and 19-inch wheels.
In terms of interior, the entire central control panel also has a strong and sturdy style. The interior of the car features a dark color tone and is decorated with metal, plus a large size floating screen in the center, under the central control panel, which expands the storage space inside, making it easier to store and retrieve daily necessities. The iCAR 03 features a three-spoke steering wheel, which simplifies the design of buttons and coordinates with the scrolling wheel to perform various functions.
This model comes in two versions, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive version is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 135 kW (184 horsepower). In addition, the car will be equipped with L2+ intelligent driving system.
