Recently, a Lamborghini Urus S 2023 super SUV with a license plate from Hanoi has unexpectedly appeared on the streets of Saigon. What makes it interesting is that the number of Lamborghini Urus S 2023 cars in Vietnam can be counted on one hand, so many people believe that this is a new car in the country, especially with such a unique color.
Specifically, this Lamborghini Urus S 2023 super SUV is pearl purple, which is one of the optional colors offered by Lamborghini. However, the truth is not like that.
Without the license plate 30K-528.99, many people would probably think that the pearl purple color is the “original” outfit of this Lamborghini Urus S 2023 super SUV. This is also the first Lamborghini Urus S car brought to Vietnam.
Specifically, this Lamborghini Urus S 2023 car is originally gray, with 23-inch double-spoke wheels, two-tone paint in black and gray, with orange brake calipers. After a few months in Vietnam, the car was registered with the license plate 30K-528.99, auctioned for only 50 million VND.
The Lamborghini Urus S is an upgrade after nearly 5 years since its launch. The most noticeable change in design can be seen in the car’s front grille, as well as the front and rear bumpers which have been slightly modified to improve aerodynamics. The first Lamborghini Urus S car brought to Vietnam is owned by a tycoon in Hanoi and it is gray in color, with many black details on the exterior, 5-double-spoke wheels with a contrasting silver-black finish, and yellow brake calipers.
The most impressive feature of the Lamborghini Urus mid-life facelift is that it still uses the same V8 twin-turbocharged engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters as the previous Urus models on the market in Vietnam. However, engineers in Italy have fine-tuned this Urus S to produce a maximum power of 657 horsepower, an increase of 16 horsepower compared to the standard version and exactly the same as the Urus Performante. The car has a maximum torque of 850 Nm.
With its impressive power, the mid-life facelift version of the Lamborghini Urus only takes 3.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, 0.1 second faster than the standard version. It can reach from 0 to 200 km/h in just 12.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 305 km/h. These figures are quite remarkable for an SUV, but still pale in comparison to the Aston Martin DBX 707, which already has 3 cars in Vietnam.
