The Chevrolet Beat 2018 is an affordable hatchback model produced at General Motors’ factory in Maharashtra, India. However, this model has not been for sale in the Indian market. Instead, General Motors has introduced the Chevrolet Beat 2018 in the neighboring Mexican market.
The Chevrolet Beat 2018 is still based on the same platform as the previous version. However, the Chevrolet Beat 2018 has undergone basic dimension changes with an overall length of 3,635 mm, width of 1,597 mm, height of 1,522 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,375 mm.
Compared to the previous version, the Chevrolet Beat 2018 is 40 mm shorter, 1 mm narrower, and 27 mm lower. The headroom for passengers inside the car has increased by 8 mm at the front and 5 mm at the rear. Meanwhile, the wheelbase remains the same.
In terms of design, the Chevrolet Beat 2018 has undergone significant changes, especially in the front with new headlights and grille. The license plate area on the front of the car has been expanded compared to before. The fog light design has also changed.
At the rear of the car, there are new features such as the taillight design, bumpers, and reflector lights. The rear license plate area has been moved from on top of the trunk door to below the bumper.

The Chevrolet Beat 2018 is powered by a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder MFI gasoline engine, generating a maximum power of 81 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 104 Nm at 4,800 rpm. The engine specifications remain unchanged from before and are combined with a standard 5-speed manual transmission.
In terms of safety, the Chevrolet Beat 2018 features disc brakes on all four wheels, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and front dual airbags.
In the Mexican market, the Chevrolet Beat 2018 is priced from 152,500 to 195,400 Peso, equivalent to 194 to 249 million Dong.
