Similar to its competitors such as Honda, Toyota, and Ford, the Nissan brand has also introduced a new promotion for its models in the last month of 2023. Accordingly, in December, Nissan will cover 100% of the registration fee for customers purchasing the 3 models: Kicks e-Power, Almera, and Navara.

Nissan Almera in Vietnam currently has 2 versions and the price ranges from 539 – 595 million VND. With a 100% registration fee exemption, customers buying this B-segment sedan can save from 54 – 60 million VND when going through registration procedures, depending on the version.

Nissan Kicks e-Power also has 2 versions and prices ranging from 789 – 858 million VND. Therefore, the 100% registration fee exemption for this model is equivalent to a value of 79 – 86 million VND.

Meanwhile, Nissan Navara has 3 versions and prices ranging from 699 – 970 million VND. When registering this model, customers can reduce costs from 70 – 97 million VND.

In addition, Nissan Vietnam also offers 0% interest for 12 months for customers purchasing these 3 models and can convert it to cash. The December 2023 incentive program of Nissan Vietnam has a maximum conversion value of up to 125 million VND. This incentive program will be applied to customers who sign contracts and deposit for Nissan vehicles from December 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.

Nissan Kicks e-Power E 789,000,000

Nissan Vietnam’s December 2023 incentive program

All 3 models of Nissan Vietnam are imported completely built-up (CBU) from Thailand. Therefore, these 3 models do not enjoy the 50% registration fee exemption from the government until the end of December 31, 2023.

Moreover, the 3 Nissan models still have prices that are not truly competitive in their segments. Combined with the overall decline in the Vietnam auto market, there has not been a month where Nissan cars do not have official promotions.

Fuel efficiency engines are perhaps the common advantage of Nissan models. Among them, Nissan Almera is equipped with a turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.0L, delivering a maximum power of 100 horsepower and a peak torque of 160 Nm. This engine is combined with an infinitely variable CVT transmission and has a fuel consumption rate of 4.5 liters/100 km on highways.

With Nissan Kicks e-Power, this model uses a hybrid powertrain, including an electric motor, lithium-ion battery, inverter, gasoline engine, and generator. The electric motor of Nissan Kicks e-Power generates a maximum power of 136 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The gasoline engine of Nissan Kicks e-Power is a 3-cylinder, DOHC, 12-valve, 1.2L engine, producing a maximum power of 82 horsepower and a peak torque of 103 Nm. However, the gasoline engine on the car only acts as a generator, supplying electricity to the battery and motor. With this powertrain, Nissan Kicks e-Power has a relatively low fuel consumption, only 2.2 liters/100 km in urban areas, 6.1 liters/100 km on highways, and 4.6 liters/100 km combined.

Finally, Nissan Navara comes with a 4-cylinder, twin-turbocharged diesel engine with a capacity of 2.3L, delivering a maximum power of 190 horsepower and a peak torque of 450 Nm. This engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode, rear-wheel drive, or a part-time 4-wheel drive with an electronic locking differential button (depending on the version).
