Porsche recently unveiled official images of the interior of the new generation Panamera, before its official launch on November 24. Before that, the company had also revealed the exterior design and engine specifications of this coupe model.

Panamera has always been one of Porsche’s most important models. However, things have changed since the Taycan was launched in 2019. This all-electric coupe model features a beautiful design and a range of modern technologies that have somewhat overshadowed the Panamera. There have even been rumors that the Panamera will be discontinued to make way for new electric car models. However, Porsche has stated that these are false rumors and the third generation Panamera will be unveiled on November 24.

According to the recently released images, the interior of the 2024 Panamera features a design similar to its “sibling” the Taycan. The car is equipped with 3 screens at the front, including a 12.6-inch instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, and an entertainment screen for the passenger. The central touchscreen is easier to use, thanks to the grouping of related functions, simplifying the user interface. With the new interface of the central touchscreen, the driver can quickly access content from YouTube and use social media while on the move. According to Autocar, the Panamera has a push-button start switch, replacing the ignition key used in the previous generation.

Similar to the new Cayenne, the 2024 Panamera has done away with the traditional gear lever, replacing it with buttons located behind the steering wheel. The center console integrates electrically adjustable air vents and a storage compartment. At the rear, Porsche has installed a touch screen on the armrest box, allowing rear passengers to access various settings, including air conditioning, interior ambient lighting, and map tracking. Although the Panamera has a relatively spacious second row, Porsche has mentioned that customers who need even more comfort can opt for the Executive version with an extended wheelbase, providing significantly more legroom.

The 2024 Porsche Panamera will be offered with at least four plug-in hybrid powertrain options. This demonstrates the company’s commitment to a greener future for its product range. In some markets, Porsche will even sell the Panamera with purely electric powertrain options.

All Panamera hybrid models will feature a more powerful electric motor than the previous generation, paired with a new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The car will be equipped with a 25.9 kWh battery pack and an 11 kW charger. Meanwhile, the internal combustion engine versions are designed to meet the expected Euro 7 emissions standard, which will come into effect in 2025.

The air suspension system on the 2024 Panamera will also be upgraded with new two-valve dampers for adjustable compression/rebound. Additionally, the new Panamera will be equipped with an optional active damping control system, providing a more dynamic and comfortable driving experience.

There is currently no information about the pricing of the 2024 Porsche Panamera. The car will be available for sale worldwide from early 2024.
