Positioned in the B-segment SUV, the commercial version of the Urban SUV Concept will be one of six electric car models that Toyota has planned to sell in the European market. However, the Toyota has not yet announced much information about the commercial version of this car.

Toyota is currently dominating the B-segment SUV segment with the Yaris Cross electric hybrid car. This is the best-selling model in the segment. With the experience gained from the Yaris Cross, we are developing a true electric SUV with practical design from the outside in, meeting the priority criteria of European customers. This model will bring quality, durability, and reliability that are trademarks of the Toyota brand“, the Japanese automaker said in a press release.

In terms of appearance, the Urban SUV Concept applies the same design language as Toyota’s latest models such as the Prius, Crown, or Camry. This SUV model also features a front end inspired by a hammerhead shark with horizontal LED daytime running lights. In addition, there are distinctive “C” shaped headlights and a closed grille. Furthermore, the car also has a strip of LED lights running along the front bumper corners.

In the side area of the car, the Toyota Urban SUV Concept features strong crease lines and cuts, sharp cornered wheel arches, aerodynamic wheels, and hidden door handles. It is not surprising that this concept car is equipped with a digital camera instead of traditional rearview mirrors. However, this feature may not be retained in the production version of the car.
