The Kia EV6, the first all-electric model from South Korean automaker Kia, was first introduced in 2021 but is already getting an upgrade. In fact, an upgraded version is currently being developed and is expected to be launched next year. David Hilber, the Marketing Director of Kia Europe, has revealed that the Kia EV6 Facelift will incorporate the design language of the EV9 and will also draw design inspiration from the Kia EV3, EV4, and EV5.
As this is a mid-life refresh, the overall shape of the Kia EV6 Facelift is expected to remain largely unchanged from the current model, apart from new alloy wheel designs and exterior refinements.
Notable changes are expected to be focused on the front of the car, including a redesigned front bumper and more intricate headlight clusters. The rear of the car may see minor changes in the graphics of the taillights, but its futuristic look is likely to be retained.
Inside, the EV6 Facelift could be equipped with the triple-screen setup from the EV9, which also appears on the compact SUV EV5. We can also expect a redesigned steering wheel and new seat upholstery options, along with enhanced features in the areas of autonomous driving and connectivity.

David Hilber did not disclose the exact launch date but outlined Kia’s strategy, which includes a mid-life refresh being released after 3 years and a new generation after 6 years. This suggests that we can expect the Kia EV6 Facelift to be launched in mid-2024.
