When combined with the brushless motor with a power of 350W, the ADO A28 provides an extremely smooth and silky riding experience. Even the faint humming of the motor and the belt can create an exciting feeling every time you accelerate.
Moreover, the ADO A28 is equipped with a “premium” front suspension system, with adjustable damping levels and multiple suspension settings to suit different road conditions (urban roads, highways, rough terrain…). This suspension system is supplied by a reputable German brand.
In terms of technology, the premium ADO A28 Air version is equipped with the latest generation G-Drive 5.0 technology for a more smooth and reasonable power assist customization. Meanwhile, the A28 Lite version will still have the standard pedal-assist sensor.
Notably, ADO has provided the A28 with a 9.6Ah battery pack from the well-known manufacturer Samsung. According to the manufacturer, with this battery pack, the ADO A28 can travel up to 50km in pure electric mode and 100km in pedal-assist mode. Real-world experience shows that this estimated figure is quite accurate.
Furthermore, ADO “spoils” the users by providing a $10 million USD insurance package for fire incidents caused by the battery in any country worldwide. At the same time, the included charger also features full safety functions: automatic power-off when a short circuit or overload occurs.
The battery pack of the ADO A28 is integrated into the seat post and can be removed for charging. Additionally, the ADO A28 is equipped with a lock for the seat and a dedicated storage compartment for the Apple AirTag device, reducing the risk of theft – a valuable upgrade.
In addition, the ADO A28 also features a 3.5-inch IPS color display, which is very clear even in bright light conditions. It can also connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth for notifications and navigation, a feature that is not available on many motorcycles that cost hundreds of millions of dong.
Smooth Ride
The ADO A28 offers 5 different electric assist modes to choose from. If you want a challenging workout, you can set the assist level to 0, making the pedaling quite heavy and requiring more effort for both legs.
At level 3, the rider can ride smoothly while the bike glides smoothly along. This mode is suitable for daily commuting, providing comfort and easy speed control.
At level 5, the highest level, the ADO A28 offers pure electric mode. Users can effortlessly ride without pedaling, maintaining a speed of about 30 km/h on flat terrain. This mode is suitable for carrying heavy loads, saving energy, or after completing a workout session.
With a power of up to 42V/2A, the included charger can fully charge the ADO A28 within a time frame of 4 – 6 hours. Thanks to this, users can easily and flexibly arrange their charging time.
However, the downside of the ADO A28 is that it is only suitable for solo riding. If carrying a passenger, the metal seat will provide a less comfortable experience. Moreover, if passing through rough roads or bad terrains, the passenger seat will surely be very uncomfortable.
